From Recorded Books:

To Kill a Mockingbird is an American classic, a timeless story of a young girl growing up in a sleepy Southern town and learning the true meaning of human dignity and justice. Scout Finch, daughter of the town lawyer, likes to spend her summers building treehouses, swimming, and catching lightning bugs with her big brother Jem. But one summer, when a black man is accused of raping a white woman, Scout’s carefree days come to an end. In the county courtroom, she will join her father in a desperate battle against ignorance and prejudice. When it first appeared in 1960, this extraordinary novel became an instant best-seller, winning a Pulitzer Prize and triumphant critical success. Compassionate, dramatic, and deeply moving, To Kill a Mockingbird explores the deepest roots of human behavior—innocence and experience, kindness and cruelty, love and hatred. Harper Lee always considered her book to be a simple story.
Today, it is universally hailed as a masterpiece of American literature.

Thanks FerraBit, great books!
Thanks for the great feedback!
Thank you seeders!
How do I run this once I d/l it?
@sideteppr - I'd recommend a treadmill... (though I don't think Atticus would approve).
Here's my recommendation: in iTunes (free), create a playlist, add these mp3's to the playlist, sort them by track name or number, listen on computer, or sync with iPod.
Or burn audio CDs, and listen old school (tracks nicely labeled for this).
But your question suggests an unfamiliarity with mp3 players or software... or more.

Thank you much for all of your hard work.
Thanks for the feedback, y'all!
Thank you again seeders!

One of the best books of all time, and IMHO, one of the all time best readings of an audio book - Sissy Spacek gives a wonderful reading (the only book I've ever heard her read).
The reading is up there with the best of the best - Frank Muller's work (The Hunt For Red October, The Silence of the Lambs, Charles Dickens, etc...), George Guidall, maybe Kate Reading...
